The first floor of this federal style house was built in 1790 and in 1840 a second story was added to the house. This home was carefully dismantled, tagged, and moved from Wappingers Falls, New York. It was then painstakingly reassembled and restored here in Kerhonkson, New York at the foot of the Catskill Mountains.

The house has 13 acres with a pond and six outbuildings, an upper and lower covered porch, as well as an 850 sq. ft. deck to enjoy this very peaceful setting.

With nearly 4,000 square feet of living space, this house features a grand center hall, exposed chestnut beams, original wide plank floor boards and trim. It’s five fireplaces have the option of traditional wood burning or gas.

The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, including a 48” professional gas DCS range, soapstone countertops and island.

The master bath includes a two-person steam shower and whirlpool bath. There is whole house wiring for sound, plasma T.V., and an alarm system.
